A belated happy new year, all!

I am a huge fan of Ken Rockwell.  I appreciate his no-nonsense, easy to comprehend approach and his focus on the artistic (rather than the technological) aspects of photography.  I don’t have any formal training in taking photos, but most of what I have learned has been from his website.  He recently wrote a new article on What Makes a Great Photo.  For anyone who is interested in learning how to take better photos, I highly recommend it!
